About the Audition

We’re holding a single group audition — no appointments necessary. Please plan to arrive on time at 6:00 PM so we can see everyone together.

Casting Information

Several roles, including a non-speaking role, have already been cast.

We are seeking actors for the following open roles:

​

Jay (male presenting, any race, 40–50 years old)

• The adopted son of a businessman who left the family company to his brother-in-law, Devon, not him.

• Loves his wife Barbara, but doesn’t know she is having an affair with Devon.​

 

Barbara (female presenting, any race, 35–50 years old)

• Married to Jay, but entangled in an affair with Devon.

• Feels only the slightest guilt about hurting her husband and her sister-in-law, Mia.

​

Kat (female presenting, any race, 25–35 years old)

• Fiancée of Billy, who plans violence against anyone he chooses.

• A “hooker with a heart of stone” — not gold.

• Secretly having an affair with Devon, which Barbara does not know about.

About the Play

​

A Long Night is a psychological horror story by Matt Elliott and Debra Schultz. Set on Christmas Eve, the play explores family secrets, betrayal, and the chilling consequences of truth revealed. This is not your typical holiday story.
