A B O U T
In 2007, Christine Weems, Michael Weems and Eddie Rodriguez were not only very good friends, but board members of Phare Play Productions - a Manhattan theatre production company dedicated to developing new works and new talent in the tiny city of New York. Fast forward to 2011 where they all find themselves (for various reasons) in the fourth largest city in the country. Having taken their talents down south to Houston, these three have reunited and joined forces with the incomparable talents of Kacie Adams, Kelsey Finstad and Josh Baker to form Cone Man Running Productions in order to continue to bring great entertainment - both theatre and film - to Houston.
Cone Man Running Productions seeks to challenge the playwrights, directors and actors while enticing audiences with not only traditional theatre productions, but with unique and innovative theatrical projects like the Spontaneous Smattering and the Pass and Go.
In 2017, Cone Man Running was honored by the Houston Press with the 2017 Mastermind Award!

KACIE ADAMS
A talented actor who has also proved herself to be an equally talented playwright, Kacie has also been behind the scenes and worked in all manners of capacities in both the artistic and business side of theatre and has been a part of the Cone Man family for years.
KELSEY FINSTAD
A force to be reckoned with as a stage manager, she has also been invaluable doing some of everything theatre and film wise for Cone Man as well as numerous other companies for years. We even get her on stage from time to time...
JOSH BAKER
Came into the world of theater like a whirlwind, learning all things technical and design to quickly become award-nominated for his lighting design work. He has been a steady presence behind the scenes and as asset to Cone Man since practically the beginning.
